Garlic Powder vs Garlic Granules: What’s The Real Difference?

Garlic Powder vs Garlic Granules: What’s The Real Difference?

Our premium garlic powder and garlic granules are must-have ingredients in your pantry or spice rack. But what’s the real difference between the two and how do you use them properly?

How our products are made:

We make our granules and powder right here on our beautiful farm. Our process ensures our garlic maintains its flavour while also preserving its nutritional value.

Once our fresh garlic is harvested and dried we peel it and mince it up. This minced garlic is then dehydrated for 14 hours.

Next, we place our dried garlic into a special grinder that crushes the mixture into granules and powder.

Finally, we pass our collection of granules and powder through a special sieve to separate the two before packaging them in our resealable sachets!

How to use our products in your cooking:

The main distinction between garlic powder and garlic granules is, of course, the texture, however the flavour intensity is also quite different.

Because it’s so fine, our garlic powder releases flavour faster than our granules. It’s also more potent than our granules and our fresh garlic!

Here’s some helpful cooking conversions for you:

1 fresh clove = 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder

1 fresh clove = 1/4 teaspoon of granulated garlic

1 teaspoon garlic powder = 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
