Our Australian Elephant Garlic is a real beauty – not just in size, but in taste and versatility too. Grown right here on our family farm, this isn’t your average garlic. Elephant garlic is a milder, sweeter variety that’s perfect for roasting, grilling, or adding to your favourite dishes when you want that garlic flavour without the usual bite.
Don’t be fooled by the name – Elephant Garlic is actually more closely related to a leek than our white hardneck garlic. The leek of it all gives it a gentler, buttery flavour.
Elephant Garlic lives up to its name, with massive cloves that are easy to peel. Whether you’re chucking it on the barbie, roasting it whole, or slicing it thin to add to your veggies, this garlic adds depth without overpowering your meal.
Our fresh garlic is hand-harvested with care, sun-cured naturally, and packed on-farm to keep things as fresh as possible. No chemicals, no imports – just pure, Australian garlic grown with heart and hard yakka.
It's also a top choice for folks who find regular garlic a bit too strong or tricky to digest – all the flavour, none of the after-burn. And if you’re a keen gardener, you could also plant some cloves and see how you go growing your own crop!
From our farm to your table, Kangaroo Island Fresh Garlic’s Australian Elephant Garlic brings a taste of the land straight to your kitchen. Big, bold, and proudly local – just how it should be.
How many bulbs will I get? This year's crop of Elephant Garlic bulbs is varying pretty wildly in size. We'll by trying to include a variety of sizes in each order. BUT you should expect to receive between 6 and 10 bulbs in your order.
Note: Sadly, due to quarantine laws we cannot ship our fresh garlic to Western Australia
