Ingredients:

450g beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
6-8 cloves black garlic, minced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 capsicum, thinly sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
Cooked rice, for serving
Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced black garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Mix well to make the sauce.
  2. Marinate the sliced beef in half of the prepared sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion, bell pepper, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the remaining sauce and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve the black garlic beef stir-fry hot over cooked rice or udon noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.

Feel free to adjust the amount of black garlic and other seasonings according to your taste preferences.
